Primary Site - Where SMEs and startups innovation grows

We are pleased to announce that ALBA Robot is one of the 10 companies that have been selected to participate in the first edition of Primary Site.

The program, developed by Confindustria Dispositivi Medici in collaboration with MIND Milano Innovation District, is created to promote innovation in the health technology sector and the development of SMEs and startups.

Thanks to the participation in the project, we are now supported in the certification process of the technology we are designing for hospitals and healthcare facilities, with the goal of obtaining CE marking and entering, thus, the market.

We are very honored to have been chosen to take part in the comprehensive training course, dedicated to the regulatory aspects regarding placing a medical device on the market and accessing financing mechanisms.

In this interview, our Product Manager Lorenzo Sabaini explains why we applied to participate in the Primary Site program and what are the main features of our innovative solution.

Our autonomous driving service aims at supporting both the medical staff, by freeing up resources employed in the pushing of wheelchairs and carts, and the users, who will be able to move autonomously with our vehicle in safe conditions.
